2021-2022 Arrowverse Roundup - Week 31

This week featured more shocks, and set ups for final showdowns.

Below is a breakdown of all of the Arrowverse stuff that aired this week. It is part review, part speculation, part analysis, and part rambling. It is organized in the order they aired throughout the week, so feel free to scroll down to whatever ones you watch. Superman & Lois - Episode 2.14 - Worlds War Bizarre

Penultimate episodes are always big, and this one was no exception. Sarah finally found out the secret, and she seems to be handling it better than her mother did. The worlds are merging, and doppelgangers are causing issues.  If the show can stick the landing this time, that'll be two finales in a row, which will cement it up there with Arrow as the best first 2 seasons in this shared world.

The Flash - Episode 8.19 - The Negative, Part One

They jam packed a lot in this episode. It does indeed look like Barry will be responsible for creating Reverse Flash, as he said. If next season is the last, and Thawne is the big bad of that season, then it will be nice to see it go full circle. Barry's kids showed up, and there is usually a lot of mythology stuff that happens when they do. Sure enough, this is one of those time. Iris "died" but I do not think it is permanent. Things will be reversed. Whether you like her or not, they've done the Iris death thing before, they wouldn't erase the kids, and if for some reason they did kill her, there would be a ton more pomp and circumstance than there was.

The best episode of the week was Superman & Lois. It was a lot less sloppy than The Flash.
