WandaVision - Episode 3 - Review

Image
The strangest show on TV got its first episode in full color! This episode offered a bit more of the bigger picture at hand, and what to expect for future episodes by fully setting the town. The long wait between episodes is working in the shows favor, even though we all want the whole thing immediately in this binge-model world. WandaVision offers something new while tapping into nostalgia at the same time. It is quite special.

WandaVision - Episodes 1 & 2 - Review

Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is back after over a year (!) absence . WandaVision had the honor of ushering in Phase 4 with the most unique entry in the shared universe yet. When it was announced that there would be television shows set in the MCU, with MCU characters, on Disney+, this one instantly caught my attention. The other shows like Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye all looked like they were exactly what they seemed to be on paper. But WandaVision stuck out to me then , and I was not disappointed.

Doctor Who - 2021 New Year's Day Special - Revolution of the Daleks - Review

Image
"Revolution of the Daleks" was my most anticipated episode of the Chris Chibnall/Jodie Whittaker era since their debut episode. It was sold as having Daleks, Captain Jack Harkness, and connective tissue to previous episodes. What's not to love? Well, the episode had even more - Dalek civil war, companion exits, and even a tease toward the future. While it was enjoyable, there were many glaring issues with the episode that kept it from being great.

Movie Final - My Favorite Movies of 2020

2020 has been a year like no other. The world has changed, and it affected our entertainment. Many big movies that I expected to be on the list were delayed. Some were released, but in different formats than I expected to see them. Still, despite everything, 2020 gave us some wonderful gems. There was power, hope, laughter, love, and purpose in many of the stories this year, right when we needed them most.
