2021-2022 Arrowverse Roundup - Week 25

This week featured a funeral and a powerful journey.

Below is a breakdown of all of the Arrowverse stuff that aired this week. It is part review, part speculation, part analysis, and part rambling. It is organized in the order they aired throughout the week, so feel free to scroll down to whatever ones you watch. Naomi - Episode 1.12/1.13 - Ready or Not/Who Am I

With Naomi having visions, it was time to get some answers. Naomi went from high school student to multiversal hero. She traveled to her home Earth and battled what was going to be the big bad of s2. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is going to be a s2. The show was not renewed. It isn't the singular kiss of death, it can be revived in many different ways, or even revisited later. But for now, it looks like this is the end of Naomi and her friends. The show found its footing too little, too late unfortunately.

The Flash - Episode 8.14 - Funeral For A Friend

Frost's funeral was merely the setting - the story was how each member of team Flash was honoring her legacy. It was a sweet way to do it, but felt a bit rushed in places. Grief is a powerful emotion to convey on screen, and can manifest itself in a plethora of different ways. Caitlin's was obviously the most powerful, and it turned into her wanting to resurrect Frost, even after the whole Ronnie ordeal.

The best episode of the week was The Flash. Though Naomi did end strong.
