2021-2022 Arrowverse Roundup - Week 18

This week featured a returning villain and a new ally.

Below is a breakdown of all of the Arrowverse stuff that aired this week. It is part review, part speculation, part analysis, and part rambling. The Flash - Episode 8.07 - Lockdown

 

This episode was another fun self contained episode, centering on two of the OGs of Team Flash. Barry had to work out stuff with the new chief, who eventually learned his identity. Caitlin is also getting back into the dating scene, and has to deal with Frost doing well in that area. This is going to lead into something bigger later, but as just a pure character development standpoint it still worked. The show teased Iris having weird side effects, so that is sure to be an important thing later too. Overall, not a bad standalone episode, it is nice that they can tell small stories in the larger season, instead of having to tread water with an overall big story.

The best episode of the week was The Flash as it was the only episode of the week. But it was a fun self contained episode.
