2021-2022 Arrowverse Roundup - Week 14

This week featured personal reveals, a surprising villain, a bit of redemption, and a really unique time loop.

Below is a breakdown of all of the Arrowverse stuff that aired this week. It is part review, part speculation, part analysis, and part rambling. It is organized in the order they aired throughout the week, so feel free to scroll down to whatever ones you watch. If you want to get caught up, you can use my Arrowverse Viewing Order guide to help you navigate!

Naomi - Episode 1.04 - Enigma

The magic of Spider-Man is that he has to deal with superhero stuff, life and death situations, and saving the world while at the same time dealing with things like homework, crushes, and detentions. Naomi very much deals with the same kind of thing. This episode was great in showing her deal with discovering the secrets of her past, training her powers, yet dealing with things like running from class president and stuff like that.

Superman and Lois - Episode 2.04 - The Inverse Method

Lois faced her sister and the cult at the same time, and didn't come out on top. Jordan became sloppy with his powers, and Jonathan is starting to make poor decisions to keep up with his peers. The family aspect continues to be the highlight of the show, when you would think it would get in the way of the superhero show that people want. But it is truly the heart and soul of the entire story.

Legends of Tomorrow - Episode 7.11 - Rage Against The Machines

The Legends finally got the Waverider back! They were able to defeat the robots, and preserve time at the same time. The usual Legends fun was to be had but just like the other episodes, this one excelled at character development as well. There are a lot of turning gears, and spinning plates happening at the moment, and it will be nice to see how they can wrap it all up in a bow.

Batwoman - Episode 3.11 - Broken Toys

It seems like they pretty much put the Poison Ivy story to bed, and now can wholly focus on Ryan's brother, which is escalating quickly. With Mary back on their side, and Luke seemingly resolving his suit/father issues, not to mention Sophie and Ryan coming to an understanding, Team Batwoman has never looked stronger. They are going to need all the help they can get to wrestle the city back out of the grips of Marquis. Jada is still in the picture as well, and so is Alice, so things will get stickier before they get better, but it should be an entertaining ride.

The best episode of the week was Superman & Lois. When that show is good, it's great.
