2021-2022 Arrowverse Roundup - Week 09
This
week featured an old foe and people seen in new light.
Below is a breakdown of all of the Arrowverse stuff that aired this week. It is part review, part speculation, part analysis, and part rambling. It is organized in the order they aired throughout the week, so feel free to scroll down to whatever ones you watch. Tom Cavanagh is always a gift no matter what role he plays, and he's played a lot of them. There is something particularly special about him playing Thawne, and he got to play him in a new way this time, which was great. His back and forth with Barry is always great, and to see them switch costumes was fun too.
Damien Darhk has been hit and miss. He was definitely used better in Legends than he was used in Arrow, so it was nice to see this be a continuation of the Legends arc. Neil McDonough slipped back into the role with ease, and it was like he was never absent.
Things pretty much wrapped up this episode, so it will be interesting to see what part 5 will bring. Grant did some fantastic acting when he realized Joe was alive again. It is nice to see the emotional crux of the show (Barry and Joe) still intact.

No competition this week, but the episode was great regardless.
